This item has a wax polish finish and has been stained and finished intentionally to make it look like an antique. As with traditional antique furniture, you will notice slight inconsistencies in the stain/finish which create a patina, or antique look.  It is finely constructed from top grade kiln-dried Solid Mahogany. Artisans use the old world method of tongue and groove and mortise and tenon joinery to create this beautiful and durable piece of furniture.
